A rare and possibly unique stunning Mid 20thC Italian giltwood and glass coffee table in the form of two female blackamoor mermaids supporting a heavy glass top with canted corners the mermaids lying amid cresting waves are formed from exquistely carved wood and are decorated in silver and gold gilding the original glass top has bronze locators to form a rock solid construction and is presented in exceptional condition
