A French late 18thC cherry wood extending farmhouse table from the Britanny region in the north west of france the solid cherry wood base with a shaped serepntine frieze on cabriole legs with pad feet and a single drawer with a bronze pull. The top is also in solid cherry wood that conceals two pull out leaves also in cherry wood extending the table to 284cm and can seat 12-14 when fully extended 6-8 when closed the whole table has a lovely mellow patina the leaves although contemporary to the table are slightly darker due to being less exposed to sunlight over the years a really useful item rariely found these days
