A rare 18thC Folk Art Painted Pine Alpine Bonnetiere Armoire retaining its original folk art decorative paint finish and dated to 1798 the armoire most probably precedes this date but the date refers to when it was gifted usually as a marriage or engagement gift it was originally fitted with a hanging rail with other various pegs inside but we can post fit with shelves if required the armoire is constructed to split into two for ease of access to difficult spaces
