A rare pair of English Arts and Crafts light Oak commodes circa 1925 the commodes with two short drawers with gothic revival carving the carcass with pie crust carved arch detailing with turned wooden knobs ideal for bedside size. The commodes have only been cleaned and was originally in this bleached oak finish there was also some polychrome decoration to the gothic carving which has been removed as was historically badly retouched
